Wildflower [PTY LTD, ABN 15 666 908 970] ("Wildflower", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This statement explains what personal information we collect through wildflower.com.au, why we collect it, how we handle it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our work. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include your name, email address, phone number, business or organisation name, project details such as location, timeline and scope, and any other information you choose to give us in an enquiry.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you.

HOW WE COLLECT IT

We collect personal information when you submit an enquiry form, request our commercial information pack, subscribe to our newsletter, email or call us, or engage us on a project. Where possible we collect information directly from you. If information is collected from a third party — a builder, architect or interior designer acting on your behalf, for example — we handle it under this statement.

WHY WE COLLECT IT

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and proposals, deliver and administer our services, coordinate procurement, delivery and installation with suppliers and contractors, issue invoices and manage payments, send newsletters and studio updates where you have subscribed, and improve the website and our services.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We may disclose personal information to suppliers, makers, freight and installation partners where it is necessary to deliver your project, and to our service providers — including website hosting, content management, email delivery, analytics and accounting platforms — who process information on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia. Where that is the case, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

The site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly and to understand how it is used. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function as intended if you do.

DIRECT MARKETING

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will send occasional studio news, project updates and product curation. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not affect communications relating to a live project.

SECURITY AND RETENTION

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Where information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

ACCESS AND CORRECTION

You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable period. In limited circumstances we may decline a request, in which case we will explain why in writing.

COMPLAINTS

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us in the first instance and we will investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
